About the game
SIGNALIS is a survival horror adventure from Hamburg studio rose-engine. You play as Elster, a technician Replika who crash-lands on a remote, snow-covered planet and wanders through a seemingly abandoned underground facility, surreal visions, and memories that may not be hers.
The game mixes top-down exploration and scarce-resource combat with first-person puzzle screens, radio signals, and a multilayered story of identity, duty, and cosmic dread. Its look blends low-poly 3D with pixel-perfect animation and a cold-war retrotech aesthetic inspired by classic survival horror.
SIGNALIS launched on October 27, 2022 for PC (Steam), Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. It spent its first year in Xbox Game Pass and the Humble Games Collection. The current Steam store listing credits publisher Balor Games.
