About the game
Mouthwashing is a first-person horror game from developer Wrong Organ and publisher CRITICAL REFLEX. Players follow the dying crew of the Tulpar, a shipwrecked space freighter left in the empty reaches of space under a perpetual sunset.
With supplies running out and rescue off the table, the story leans on isolation, paranoia, and unreliable perception as the crew deals with starvation and each other. Exploration and attention to the ship's details matter more than combat; the narrative is designed to unsettle rather than offer easy answers.
The game launched on PC via Steam on September 26, 2024. Console editions for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox on PC arrive on October 29, 2026, with day-one availability on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass. A physical edition for PlayStation 5 and Switch is planned via Fangamer.
